CLASSES

In addition to our after school care program, we are offering non-licensed evening classes for all ages. Classes run from 6pm- 9pm on weekdays. Our goal is to offer a wide variety of classes that are fun and interesting for kids and kept convenient and affordable for parents. There are a lot of different things going on at Kid Spot but the theme that we hope you will see woven into all classes is that they are taught with leadership, learning and life skills as their ultimate goals. From the moment your child chooses a class from the Kid Spot schedule they are taking leadership in their own life. Our teachers will encourage your child's independence and individuality in class in the hopes that building their self esteem will empower them to become a positive leader among their peers. At Kid Spot, we are always wowed by what kids can achieve but we still value process over product.  Whether your child comes to learn to dance, paint, play an instrument, or make a delicious meal; the long term value in their experience will be the life skills that they gain during the process. We are all about learning to work in a group with different personalities, persevering through things that don't come easily, setting goals and working towards them with a growth mindset, stepping out of the comfort zone to try something new or just simply showing up and putting their effort in when they are not in the mood that day. These are all skills that we need in every day life and that's why setting your child up in classes at Kid Spot is setting your child up for a life of success!
